4 Leaf Lotto brought its lottery platform to ICE Africa

4 Leaf Lotto brought its lottery platform to the ICE Africa. "Our product is a lottery platform. Our customers are the one who wants to operate their own lottery anywhere around the world. We have online and Point-of-Sale, to allow customers to do basically any kind of number's game, bingo or lottery game from the whole world on their system," Morris said.

"This is the first time for us in ICE Africa. It is good. We are excited to be here. We have a number of lottery clients coming from Africa now and we'll hopefully find a few more here, so I think it will be good," he added.

He then gave his opinion about the African market: "I mean it is definitely growing; we've signed up with the Mozambique government, and we've talked to a couple of individual operators, so for us I think it is definitely an emerging market, a market that keeps on growing all the time."

When asked about the opportunities that the African gaming industry presents for 4 Leaf Lotto, Morris answered: "Well, a lot of countries allow for the individual operators, so that's good for us, because they can use our platform, and it seems like there is a lot of people that are trying to get into the game; people that are new and that want to start something, and that's where we come in. We can help them keep going very quicky with the product that´s basically turkey."

Finally, he commented about the current situation of the gambing market in Africa: "We are seeing a transicion. A lot of companies are still using paper for lottery, so we have Points of Sale where we are still using paper and generate tickets, but we also keep transition to the online. In some of the markets we've done USSD which is a kind of SMS, is like texting in your orders, so there is a little bit of the technology starting to come on the market, and we have transition for paper players starting to play online."
